After I graduated from DHS, I attended the Air Force Academy and graduated in 1977 with BS in Chemistry. I the attended flight school for a year and was selected to return to Reese AFB as a T-38 instructor. My next assignment was flying C-141B aircraft at McChord AFB. Had the opportunity to attend graduate school at the University of Michigan and go back to the Air Force Academy and teach in the department of chemistry. After more graduate school, I had a second tour at the Academy and retired after 24 years. After the Air Force I taught AP Chemistry and coached football, wrestling and lacrosse at several private/boarding schools in Texas and the north east. I just officially retired in 2020! My wife Janice and I live on 20 acres in central Texas.

Hey Mark - nice to hear from you! You’re right about cutting up in band, but we were pretty good. Mr. Russo was a great guy and an exceptional band leader. I read you profile and it sounds like your doing better. I’ve really been blessed in my life and learned the meaning of hard work at DHS and from my parents. You were always a good friend and a very talented musician! Hope to get back to Michigan for the reunion.
